Ryan’s background in construction goes back to his early childhood, when he would excitedly tag along with his father and grandfather to “check jobs” at Balas Homes in California, which firmly planted the seed for his passion for quality construction.  Ryan began as a laborer for one of the largest private builders in the Puget Sound area.  He completed his degree in Construction Management at Edmonds Community College while working full time as a job Superintendent.  Ryan has a wealth of experience in construction management, overseeing and leading all operational departments.  Ryan has excellent working relationships with many of the best local trade partners.  With this experience, he is well-versed in quality and ethical construction practices, while maintaining on-time and on-budget projects, and now is fundamental feature of Balas Construction.  In his free time, he and his wife, Amy, help their two young boys foster a love of the outdoors through hiking, hunting and sports activities, while being actively involved and serving in their church community.
